The 14th Annual Schubert Chorale Summer Concert

 

The Schubert Chorale, 50 adult, college, and high school singers, will present "Nature's Inspiration."

 

The program will begin with Franz Joseph Haydn's "The Heavens Are Telling" and continue with three beautiful Elaine Hagenberg selections. The men will present Franz Schubert's "The Night" from his Four Songs, Op. 17, and the women Felix Mendelssohn's "Lift Thine Eyes" from Elijah.

 

The chorale will continue with Antonin Dvorak's "Song to the Moon," Disney favorite "When You Wish Upon a Star," a medley from The Sound of Music, Kermit the Frog's "Bein' Green," and a rousing rendition of Bill Staines' "A Place in the Choir (All God's Critters)!"

Sunday, August 20, 2023, 4:00 p.m., Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. Tickets $10 at door. 75 minutes, appropriate for ages 6 and up.
